Garden Horticulture

This course is designed to help participants learn the exciting process of plant propagation presented by an expert in the field.

The course is conducted over a total of four mornings, once per week from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Participants can choose to join the Tuesday group or the Saturday group.

Learn to grow Plants for Pleasure and Profit

Presented by Ate Berga who has many years' experience and a passion for plants. This course teaches the basics of plant reproduction, collecting and sowing seeds and rooting of cuttings. Ate shares his wonderful wealth of knowledge and information about books, tools, products and how to identify plants. You leave this course with new found knowledge and skills learnt during the hands-on practical sessions.

This course is comprehensive and will cover the following aspects:

  • Record keeping
  • Structures, Growing media and Pest control
  • Cuttings and Seeds
